Health Insurance

Health Insurance is effectively an insurance designed to cover the risk of incurring medical expenses. It is sometimes used more broadly to include insurance covering disability or long term care needs.

It may be purchased on a group basis, for example, by a firm to cover it's employees or on an individual basis.

Furthermore there are additional types of cover available that don't fall under Private Medical Insurance or Life Assurance.
